1. The tool must do something
A functioning timer, calculator, guided interaction or structured reflection is the main content. We do not hide the useful part behind registration, payment or an email form.
2. Claims need boundaries
We distinguish among established evidence, practical convention and our own product choices. We avoid promising that a short exercise will treat a condition or produce a guaranteed biological effect.
3. Calculations are explained
When a calculator makes assumptions, those assumptions appear on the page. When a questionnaire is an original educational reflection rather than a validated instrument, we say so prominently.
4. Safety changes the design
Users can stop, pause or skip. Medical limitations appear near the experience, not only in a general disclaimer. Sensitive tools should be reviewed by appropriately qualified professionals before they are represented as clinical or validated.
5. Privacy is the default
Current tools calculate in the browser. They do not upload answers, task names, selected times or results. If that changes for an optional feature, the interface will ask first and explain exactly what is stored.
6. Accessibility is functional
Tools must work with a keyboard, visible focus, readable contrast and reduced motion preferences. Motion-based guidance includes text. Color is not the only signal.
Editorial status
The initial MentalEnergy tool library is educational wellness content. It has not yet undergone external clinical review. No page should imply otherwise. We plan to add named reviewers and review dates after qualified experts complete that work.
Corrections: If you identify an inaccurate claim, accessibility problem or unsafe interaction, contact the site owner through the domain registration contact while a dedicated editorial address is being established.
